Introduction

URL to Design.md turns public webpage URLs into agent-ready DESIGN.md handoff files. This policy explains what information we collect, how it is used, and what choices you have when using the service.

Information We Collect

We collect information needed to operate the product, including:

• Account information such as email address, authentication state, and account identifiers.
• Product usage data such as submitted public URLs, normalized and final URLs, page titles, page descriptions, generated DESIGN.md files, handoff prompts, evidence labels, output metrics, generation timestamps, and history entries.
• Extracted public page evidence such as headings, links, image counts, visual tokens, screenshots when available, and structured context used to create the output.
• Billing records such as selected credit pack, checkout status, order history, credit grants, product charge events, refunds, chargebacks, and receipts.
• Support messages, abuse reports, and operational logs when you contact us or when the service needs to be protected.
• Device, browser, cookie, session, security, and analytics data needed for login, fraud prevention, reliability, and product improvement.

Payment details are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store full card numbers in this service.

How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

• Generate, display, edit, and let you copy or download DESIGN.md output.
• Keep generated results tied to the signed-in account that requested them.
• Cache public URL artifacts so repeated generations can be faster and more reliable.
• Process credit-pack purchases, URL generation charges, refunds, chargebacks, receipts, and billing history.
• Authenticate users, secure sessions, prevent abuse, rate-limit generation, and investigate errors.
• Improve extraction quality, output quality, product reliability, and support workflows.

Submitted URLs must be public HTTP/HTTPS pages. Private pages, logged-in pages, localhost, internal hosts, non-default ports, embedded credentials, and URLs with sensitive token-like query parameters are blocked before extraction.

AI Inputs And Outputs

When you generate a DESIGN.md, the public URL and extracted public page evidence may be sent to extraction and AI generation services. The output may include detected, inferred, and needs review labels. You are responsible for reviewing the output before using it in your own project.

URL to Design.md is not a Figma converter, pixel-perfect cloning service, private-page crawler, or permission to copy protected assets, logos, images, fonts, source code, or proprietary UI.

Cookies And Analytics

We use cookies or similar technologies for authentication, session security, checkout return flows, product settings, and reliability. Analytics may be used where enabled to understand aggregate page and product usage.

Storage And Retention

Generated artifacts may be stored in product databases and object storage, including normalized URLs, generated Markdown, handoff prompts, structured context, metrics, and screenshot assets when available. Cached public URL artifacts are designed to be refreshed after a limited freshness window, currently 30 days, but records may remain for account history, billing, security, legal, or operational needs.

If durable storage is unavailable, temporary server-side results may be kept briefly so the workbench can load the result. Your browser may also keep the latest result in session storage until the session ends or you clear browser data.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with service providers that help operate the product, including hosting, database, CDN, extraction, AI generation, analytics, email, payment, fraud prevention, support, and security providers. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or to investigate abuse.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted transport and access controls. No internet service can guarantee perfect security.

Your Choices

You can request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal information by contacting us. Some records may need to be retained for billing, tax, security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or legal obligations. You can also clear browser session storage and cookies through your browser settings.
